Due to recent growth at Modern Heating & Cooling Solutions Ltd we are looking for experienced Plumbers/ Heating Engineers to join our ever-expanding team.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
All types of plumbing and heating installation work and maintenance (domestic and commercial)
Bathroom installations
underfloor heating installations
Installation of renewables (Air source & Ground source heat pumps)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years' experience within the plumbing industry
NVQ Level 2 or higher in plumbing
Excellent organisation and time keeping skills to be able to work to deadlines
Self-motivated, using own initiative, desire to learn and achieve
UK Full Driving Licence

Due to recent growth at Modern Heating & Cooling Solutions Ltd we are looking for an experienced estimator to join our ever-expanding team.
Roles & Responsibilities include:
Analysing project plans and specifications: Thoroughly understand the project scope, requirements, and details to accurately estimate costs.
Researching and sourcing materials, equipment, and labor: Find the best prices and options for materials, equipment rentals, and subcontractor labor.
Negotiating quotes and contracts: Secure good deals for materials, equipment, and labor while ensuring quality and adherence to project specifications.
Estimating costs: Calculate the total project cost, including materials, labor, equipment, permits, contingencies, and profit margin.
Developing and presenting bids: Create formal proposals outlining the estimated cost, timeline, and scope of work to win contracts.
Assessing risks and contingencies: Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to manage unexpected costs.
Staying updated on industry trends and regulations: Ensure estimates reflect current material costs, labor rates, and regulatory requirements.
Site visits: Gather information about project conditions and complexity through on-site inspections.
Maintaining a cost database: Update and manage historical data on material costs, labor rates, and project performance for future estimates.
Monitoring project progress: Track cost expenditures and identify potential budget deviations during project execution.
Collaborating with project teams: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure estimates align with project needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Due to recent growth at Modern Heating & Cooling Solutions Ltd We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team.
Roles & Responsibilities include:
Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
Coordinate meetings
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
Maintain office cleanliness and organisation
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using Xero software
Updating our social media platforms
Chasing overdue invoices
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by office manager
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in administration
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Familiarity with computerised office systems and software (e.g., odoo, bright Hr, Xero)
